Us and Trump

The U.S. Climate Alliance is “[a] response to the U.S. federal government’s decision to withdraw the United States from the Paris Agreement on climate change, Governors Andrew Cuomo, Jay Inslee, and Jerry Brown created The United States Climate Alliance.”

“In the void created by Trump, states are stepping up to become bigger players in the climate battle,” said Elizabeth Shogren of Yale Environment 360.

“Inconvenient Sequel” revised

The release date of part two of the critically acclaimed “Inconvenient Truth,” a documentary about the devastating effects of climate change, was rescheduled from July 28 to Aug. 4 of this year to include Trump’s “reckless and indefensible” decision to pull the U.S. out of the Paris Agreement on June 1, 2017.

“We hope that the hard work of those who made the deal happen will not be in vain,” said Al Gore. “Now that President Trump is pledging to do less to keep America’s commitment to the world, we must all step up to do more to ensure the health of our planet.”

Jerry Brown rejects Trump’s decision to pull out of the Paris Agreement

“Donald Trump has absolutely chosen the wrong course. He’s wrong on the facts. America’s economy is boosted by following the Paris Agreement. He’s wrong on the science. Totally wrong. California will resist this misguided and insane course of action. Trump is AWOL but California is on the field, ready for battle.” – Jerry Brown, Governor of California
